Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians in examining and treating animalsAdminister medications and vaccines as directed by veterinariansPerform diagnostic tests, such as blood work and X-raysPrepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical proceduresMonitor and record vital signs of patientsProvide post-operative care and support to animalsEducate clients on pet care and medical treatmentsMaintain medical records and ensure accuracy and completenessRequirements:
Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician/Nurse requiredValid Veterinary Technician/Nurse certification or licensure (not required but a plus)Excellent technical skills, including venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, and laboratory techniquesStrong knowledge of veterinary medicine and animal careAbility to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionatelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentFlexible schedule, including SaturdaysPassion for animals and dedication to providing exceptional careBenefits:
