Based in Simi Valley and San Leandro, CA - we are an Aerospace manufacturer looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team!

• Act as the primary quality assurance resource to the manufacturing team for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection.
• Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports.
• Assist in process certification by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data, and making recommendations.
• Develop, execute, and analyze quality-reporting measures.
• Report to management on quality issues and trends.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques where appropriate to improve the manufacturing process.
• Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
• Understand and implement the requirements of AS and ASQR-01.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems and ensure that the manufacturing process delivers products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Engineering, AS, ASQR-01, and aerospace quality.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent is preferred.
