The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the receiving inspection process, managing the calibration procedures, and working closely with the quality technicians to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.

Position Responsibilities- Supervise and lead the receiving inspection team in the examination and verification of incoming materials and components.
- Ensure that all received items meet specified quality standards and address any discrepancies or non-conformities promptly.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to communicate and resolve quality issues with suppliers.
- Manage the calibration program for all measurement and testing equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Develop and implement calibration schedules, tracking systems, and documentation procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and reliability of calibrated equipment.
- Work closely with quality technicians to establish and maintain quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor and analyze product and process data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in the development and revision of quality documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality manuals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the receiving inspection and calibration team.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent or GED equivalent is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 5+ years in a manufacturing/production environment with at least 2 years in a Supervisory role.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, receiving inspection, and calibration processes.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to quality management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) is a plus.
