Mid Level Automotive Technician - Simpsonville, SC

Mid-Level Automotive Technician – Simpsonville, SC at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Goodyear is seeking an automotive technician to join a fast-paced environment and deliver outstanding service.

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and brake repairs
• Demonstrate guest service excellence; communicate clearly with guests and provide guidance to junior technicians as appropriate
• Document all work performed on the repair order; report safety issues immediately to management
• Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

• High School Diploma or GED
• ASE Certification
• Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests
• Experience with electrical systems, air conditioning, and fuel ignition systems

Depending on location, stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays.
