Shift: Night. Shift Premium Amount: $1.50. Pay Rate: $19.25.

As a Films - Extrusion Attendant (SW), you are responsible for racking barrier and non-barrier tubing at optimum output and yield, meeting or exceeding departmental goals and internal and external customer expectations.

• Perform job functions in a safe manner at all times and ensure the safety of coworkers.
• Work as a team member to ensure goals and objectives of the department are reached.
• Support multiple racks as well as assigned racks when needed.
• Communicate effectively to relieve Operators and Mezzanine attendants when there are changes to production orders and quality concerns.
• Perform quality inspections and adhere to Standard Operating Conditions and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure correct formulations are being produced and labeled properly on racks.
• Troubleshoot winders (tape width, buildup, cores, and splices) and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Control quality by monitoring the racks for various visual quality defects such as edge creases, voids, gels, scratches and other visual characteristics.
• Ensure accurate label and weight of tubing. Properly identify material being produced on winders.
• Perform all duties as directed by supervisor.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Requires basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications experience preferred.
• Flexibility within a high-performance work environment.
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
• Able to work without close supervision.
• Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained.
