• EMR:

• Intent:
Keep travelers in their home unit whenever possible

• Expectation:
Floating required across Prisma Health units/campuses as needed due to census

• Scope:
- Travelers will only float to units they are qualified for
- Will only perform tasks for which they have documented competencies

• Examples of floating:
Similar-acuity units within same service line (e.g., Med Surg → Med Surg/Tele)
