Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry – South Carolina

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts;
Patient ratios 4-5:1 days, 6:1 nights;
Daily census of 20 patients;
Float required to similar units as needed

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit specializing in orthopedics and bariatric patient populations
• 25-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Epic EMR system (minimum 1 year experience required);
  Pyxis medication management system
• Travel healthcare assignment with pre-assignment modules reimbursable up to 16 hours
• Orientation provided every Monday; dedicated unit secretary support
• Adult and geriatric patient population

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license (or ability to obtain)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience; 3 years specialty experience required for first-time travelers
• At least 1 year of Epic EMR experience mandatory
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line management
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must reside 100+ miles from facility (distance requirements apply; contact recruiter for details)
