• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all types of mechanical and hydraulic– and diesel–powered equipment.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, drive train components, winches, high pressure pumps, centrifugal pumps, air compressors, microprocessor controls, electro–mechanical equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, PTOs, 12/24v electrical systems, equipment cabs and controls, chassis and suspension, A/C systems, etc.
• Perform inspections required by the company.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Install and/or replace new or reconditioned repair parts.
• Test equipment for proper operation.
• Ensure total customer service.
• Require both shop and field work.
• Shift work, weekends and/or 24‑hour call may be required.
• Commercial Driver’s License required.
• Operate lifting devices.
• Understand basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits, drawings, and prints.
• Complete proper paperwork as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Maintain the service truck and equipment carried on the service truck.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment required.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record; must also possess a valid CDL license.
• Must have a complete set of tools capable of working in and around heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and proper repair procedures is required.
• Must be able to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, operating and maintenance service manuals.
• Organizational and time management skills required; must set and keep priorities and professionally handle stress associated with a fast‑paced industry and deadlines.
• Team player that is enthusiastic and hard working with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
• High degree of interpersonal skills with excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Must possess the personal discipline to represent Blanchard professionally and meet customer needs.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Work inside (non‑climate controlled) and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
• Use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to injury or hazardous materials.
• Stand, stoop, squat, push, pull, twist, turn, and lift varying weights.
• Use a broad variety of tools and machines to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
