The Bus Driver will safely transport children and counselors to and from schools or field trips, and act as a role model in regards to promptness, manners, language, appearance and health.

• Operate a 14‑passenger mini‑bus.
• Ensure the safety of passengers at all times while in a YMCA vehicle.
• Maintain equipment to ensure safety of participants.
• Communicate with the appropriate supervisor any equipment needs.
• Return the bus to the appropriate place clean and free of belongings.
• Maintain accurate records at all times, including trip and mileage logs.
• Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers.
• Attend and complete required abuse risk management training.
• Adhere to procedures related to managing high‑risk activities and supervising consumers.
• Follow mandated reporting requirements.
• Adhere to job‑specific abuse risk management responsibilities.
• Must be at least 20 years of age and possess a valid South Carolina driver’s license with the ability to operate a 14‑enger mini‑bus, with preference given to those holding a valid CDL.

• Valid South Carolina driver’s license (CDL preferred).
• Minimum age of 20 years.
