Westminster School, a leading independent boarding school in Simsbury, Connecticut, invites a full-time History teacher to join its engaged, co‑educational community of 95 faculty and 420 students. ResponsibilitiesTeach history at all high‑school levels with a curriculum that promotes critical thinking and cultural awareness. Coach extracurricular activities and serve as a corridor supervisor, faculty advisor, and evening and weekend supervisor to support a vibrant, boarding school life. Engage fully in all aspects of school life through service and service‑as‑a‑supervisor roles.
QualificationsA bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is desirable. Demonstrated background in history, a commitment to boarding school life, and a strong record of student service are essential. Applicants must possess a clean driver’s license and a current driver’s record.
