Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

This opportunity is located within our Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company business, a global leader of mission-critical hardware and systems solutions including precision energetics systems and innovative explosive solutions.

The Assembler is an important member of the team that builds our products. Responsible for the production of high-quality energetic assemblies in accordance with specific engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions. Responsible for safety,quality and delivery ofproducts for our Aerospace and Defense markets. This role will report to the Production Supervisor of Linear & Transfer Systems in our Simsbury, CT location on 1st Shift.

• Perform manual assembly as defined in Manufacturing Instructions using hand tools, simple machinery, etc.
• Loading and unloading components into automatic machines and powders into cups to press
• Clean, measure, cut, sample, spool, coil and pack product
• Maintain quality and accuracy requirements

• Excels in a dynamic, changeable work environment;
  Energetic and positive; able to work independently and within a team
• High School diploma
• Able to read and understand written instructions in English
• Has a continuous improvement mindset
• Demonstrates accountability, strong attention to detail, and a team player mindset
