Audit Assistant

Job Description

• As part of the Valaston audit team, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting high-quality audit engagements from start to finish. Reporting to Audit Seniors/Audit Managers, your responsibilities will include the following:
• Assist audit teams in performing audit fieldwork and procedures including preparing audit working papers and maintaining appropriate supporting documentation.
• Participate in risk assessment and internal control evaluation processes
• Gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients, with a focus on alternative investment funds, fund management companies and investment holding entities.
• Work closely with experienced audit professionals in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
• Develop an understanding of applicable financial reporting standards, audit methodologies and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma from a local polytechnic in
  Accountancy, Finance, Banking & Finance
  , or a related field
• Fresh graduates or those with up to 1 year of working experience — no audit background required
• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in audit and finance, with intention to work toward ACCA, Singapore CA Q, or equivalent
• Meticulous, organized, and comfortable working with numbers and detail
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
