Accounts Executive​/Accountant; Set Accounting

We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and hands-on Accounts Executive / Accountant to join our retail finance team. As a sole contributor, you will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining accurate and timely financial records. You will work closely with our overseas finance team. You will get hands-on exposure to full set accounting and retail finance operations and exposure to a broad range of accounting, finance, audit, and business operations.

• Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations
• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure all financial records are accurate, complete, and up to date
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, journal entries, and other accounting transactions in a timely manner
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable balances and follow up on outstanding items
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support internal and external audit activities and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant regulatory authorities
• Ensure accounting records and practices comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Hands-on experience managing full set accounts is preferred
• Experience in the retail industry will be an added advantage
• Proficient in accounting software MYOB, XERO and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Strong attention to detail with good numerical and analytical skills
• Highly organised, responsible, and able to work independently as a sole contributor
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
• Able to speak fluent Chinese.
