Position: Product Development & Deployment Manager (Product Manager)
About the role

Immortals Pte. Ltd. (The Gym Pod) is seeking a Product Development & Deployment Manager with a core focus on product management across our mobile app, backend/admin platform and gym automation systems. The role translates business needs into product requirements and coordinates how digital products are developed, tested, released and deployed across locations and markets.

Key responsibilities
  • Gather and analyse requirements from business, operations and customer-facing stakeholders; define problems, expected benefits and priorities.
  • Translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process maps for the engineering team.
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap and prioritised backlog, balancing customer value, business impact, technical dependencies and delivery capacity.
  • Coordinate with developers and other stakeholders on product enhancements, issue resolution, development milestones and delivery risks.
  • Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), track defects against acceptance criteria, and manage release readiness, rollout communications and post-release reviews.
  • Coordinate integration of digital products with physical gym automation systems, including end-to-end requirements, failure scenarios, testing and operational handover.
  • Define and validate product configurations for packages, memberships, pricing and operational settings; assess their commercial and customer impact.
  • Analyse product adoption, customer feedback and business performance, and recommend improvements against agreed success measures.
  • Plan product rollout across locations and support overseas localisation by translating market-specific requirements into configuration, engineering and testing work.
  • Maintain product documentation, implementation plans, stakeholder decisions and training materials to support reliable deployment and ongoing operation.
Capabilities for the role
  • Ability to understand business problems, organise requirements and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Structured analytical thinking, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional work, document decisions and follow through on delivery and testing activities.
  • Familiarity with digital products and user journeys, with an interest in developing broader product ownership, commercial analysis and software delivery capabilities.
  • Experience in UI/UX, digital delivery or related work is relevant; candidates making a genuine transition into product management are welcome.

Structured on-the-job training is proposed under SGTech's CCP for ICT Professionals (Product Development track), subject to candidate and employer eligibility and programme approval. Training will focus on product management, business requirements, engineering coordination, automation integration, project and stakeholder management, and product performance.
