Assistant Project Manager

Popbuilds Pte Ltd specialises in healthcare and commercial renovation works in Singapore. We are looking for a proactive Assistant Project Manager to support project delivery, coordinate site activities and help turn plans into quality finished spaces.

You will work closely with our Project Manager, site supervisors and specialist subcontractors to deliver renovation projects from mobilisation through to handover. This is a hands‑on role combining site coordination, planning, documentation and client communication.

Assist the Project Manager with project planning, scheduling, procurement and daily site coordination.

Coordinate subcontractors carrying out partitions, ceilings, flooring, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, ACMV and fire protection works.

Monitor site progress and workmanship, flag delays or discrepancies early, and follow up on corrective actions.

Coordinate deliveries, site access and work arrangements to keep installation activities on schedule.

Support renovation works within occupied healthcare and commercial premises, ensuring compliance with site rules, protection measures and permitted working hours.

Prepare and track material submissions, shop drawings, method statements, RFIs and approval records.

Attend site meetings, record action items and follow up with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.

Assist with site measurements, variation records and supporting documents for quotations and progress claims.

Coordinate inspections, testing and commissioning, defect rectification and handover documentation.

Work with the site team to maintain safe, tidy and organised work areas.

Diploma or degree in Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline. Candidates with relevant practical experience are also welcome.

Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in interior renovation, fit‑out or construction coordination.

Site Engineers or Project Coordinators ready to progress into an Assistant Project Manager role are encouraged to apply.

Experience in healthcare renovation or works within occupied premises is an advantage.

Ability to read construction drawings and understand work sequencing.

Good communication, organisation and follow‑up skills.

A hands‑on attitude, willingness to learn and confidence in coordinating subcontractors.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and project scheduling tools is an advantage.
