Are you a dedicated social worker, educator, or storyteller with a passion for empowering young minds? Do you have a knack for creative storytelling and a desire to make a positive impact on childhood education? We're excited to hear from you!
About Us:
Chess at Three is a US/New York-based education company that has recently expanded to Singapore. We offer innovative educational programs that combine storytelling, chess, and creative play to foster critical thinking, creativity, and social skills in children aged 6 months to 11 years.
Our Programs:
Chess at Three:
Introduces chess to children as young as three through engaging stories and games.
Birchguard Quest: A speech and drama program that develops creativity, collaboration, and leadership skills.
The Opportunity:
We're seeking enthusiastic educators to teach our programs at Singapore Swimming Club. You'll work with small groups of children aged 3-10, using our award-winning curriculum. While chess experience is helpful, it's not required - we'll provide comprehensive training and pair you with an experienced tutor.
Requirements:
Passion for education and storytelling
Experience in social work, education, or a related field
Fun, animated, and great with children
Strong organizational and communication skills
Bachelor's degree preferred
Thorough background check required
- $40/hr
- Freelancer
Schedule:
- Sundays
- 1pm to 3pm
