Secondary Mathematics​/Science Teacher

The Secondary School Mathematics & Science Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality Mathematics and Science instruction to secondary school students following the Cambridge curriculum. The role requires strong subject expertise, particularly in preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics and Science examinations, while developing students' mathematical reasoning, problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Deliver the Cambridge Mathematics/ Science curriculum to secondary school students through engaging, structured and differentiated lessons.

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that develop students' conceptual understanding, mathematical reasoning, problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Teach Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics/ Science
  , where applicable, and prepare students effectively for external examinations.

• Develop students' ability to apply mathematical concepts to complex and unfamiliar problems.

• Adapt teaching strategies, resources and assessments to meet different learning abilities and attainment levels.

• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, school activities and other duties assigned by the school.

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification
  , such as QTS, PGCE with appropriate teaching status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Possess a degree in Mathematics, Science, Mathematics and Science Education, Education with a specialisation in Mathematics or Science or a closely related field

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Mathematics or Science at secondary school level.

• Demonstrate strong classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
