Responsibilities- Perform RAN Preventive / Corrective maintenance work: Managing the daily operations and upkeep of RAN equipment. Diagnosing and resolving network issues to maintain performance. Implementing updates and upgrades for RAN components. Monitoring and enhancing the RAN's efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform RF Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform RF testing and optimization for Outdoor 4G and in future 5G in-building projects. Troubleshoot, design and plan of RF network coverage using RF test tools (e.g., Spectrum Analyzer).
- Perform SYSCON operations: Monitor and identify network failures, execute corrective actions, report and update customers, liaise with maintenance agencies and building owners, and assist in log retrieval. Service new UEs, update software, confirm failures, assist in tracking and remote wipe of lost UEs. Provide software support, basic troubleshooting, and escalate to application vendors when necessary.
- General: Support project team to meet project delivery milestones. Work with sub-contractors to ensure work quality & timely delivery. Prepare technical documentation and reports.
- Operational requirements: Able to travel offshore around Singapore, perform standby duty and shift work, and climb Jacob Ladders.
- Positive work attitude and self-motivated, with a customer-first mindset
- Strong team player to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Possess 3 years of field operations experience, with at least 1 year relevant experience in the mobile network industry
- Possess driving license
- Nice to have:
Experience in RF Testing for indoor or outdoor is an advantage - Experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC)
- Experience commissioning / maintaining BTS equipment
