Financial Consultant, Financial Manager
You will be part of Sea’s HQ Finance department, which plays an integral role in supporting the accounting and finance needs of our three core businesses (Garena, Shopee, Monee) and across our diverse regional market presence. Within the department, the Finance Transformation function drives finance excellence by implementing innovative solutions, streamlining processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
You will play a key role in optimizing financial transaction processes by integrating upstream product systems into seamless financial records and reports, along with collaboration with finance teams, system project managers, and product teams to enhance system capabilities, maintain operational integrity, and drive digital finance transformation initiatives.
- Finance System Integration & Development
- Enhance and implement finance system features for improved automation and data flow with the application of latest technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, big data.
- Work closely with finance teams and system project managers to identify enhancement needs and turn them into actionable system improvements.
- Act as a bridge between internal stakeholders and product teams, ensuring system functionalities align with finance transformation goals.
- Process Optimization & Transformation
- Drive Finance process transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop scalable integration solutions that enhance finance system interoperability.
- Provide system administration support, including user access management and compliance reviews.
- Product Management & Data Analysis
- Manage large-scale financial datasets with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Analyze financial process flows to identify automation opportunities and propose system enhancements.
- Develop detailed flowcharts to visualize process improvements and integration strategies.
- Support the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirement gathering to testing and implementation.
- Experience & Expertise
- Minimally 2 years of experience in ERP consulting, system integration, or product management related to finance applications.
- Strong understanding of AR/AP processes and fundamental accounting principles.
- Prior experience in financial system application development, particularly within technology industries.
- Background as an ex-IT consultant specializing in financial applications is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate finance needs into technical solutions.
- Experience with product lifecycle management, including roadmap planning and feature prioritization.
- Ability to create and interpret process flowcharts for system integration and automation.
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of handling both project management and hands‑on implementation tasks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
