Over the programme, you'll build a deep understanding of asset management and investments while gaining practical, hands‑on experience:
- Apply your analytical mindset to investment research, portfolio construction, and management.
- Produce high‑quality research papers and presentations that inform decision‑making.
- Work with coding tools such as Python to enhance analysis and efficiency.
- Conduct independent research and present your findings clearly and persuasively.
- Gain in‑depth knowledge of asset classes and HSBC products.
- Support operating model reviews and learn how to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Build the confidence to work with colleagues at every level.
This programme combines structured training, professional qualifications, and rotational experience to give you a rounded skillset:
- Pre‑induction:
You'll complete the Investment Management Certificate (IMC). - Professional qualifications:
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) can be studied during the programme. - Rotations:
While anchored to a home desk, you'll have opportunities to rotate into other teams to broaden your knowledge. - Ongoing, on‑the‑job training and mentoring from experienced professionals and exposure to live client projects from day one.
This is a fast‑paced programme where attention to detail, adaptability, and a desire to learn are key to success.
Requirements- Available to work full time from July 2026 onwards
- Obtained, or expected to achieve, a GPA of at least 4.0 / 5.0 or 3.2 / 4.0 (as appears on your official University transcript or degree certificate), or overseas equivalent to this
- Recent graduates with less than 2 years of full‑time job experience or will have graduated by July 2026
- Legally permitted to work in Singapore
