Founded in 2013, Gate is one of the world’s earliest and most trusted cryptocurrency exchanges, serving over 53 million users globally. Ranked among the top three exchanges worldwide, Gate supports spot, futures, and margin trading alongside wealth management products across 4,600+ cryptocurrencies. With thousands of employees across key global markets — most working fully remotely — Gate is building the financial infrastructure of the next era of the internet.
We hire people who move fast, think independently, and want real ownership of their work.
Gate Money is our new payments business, and every market it enters brings its own banks, rules, and regulators. This is the one seat that owns the whole payment product: one roadmap, one set of priorities, one person who answers for how money moves in and out. Get it right and users in each market can fund and cash out without friction, and Gate can enter new markets without compliance surprises.
In 18 months you’ll have launched channels across several markets and be the person that partners, engineering, and compliance bring payment decisions to.
- Own the payment product end to end: roadmap, priorities, launches, and day-to-day performance
- Bring new channels live, including banks, card acquiring, and local payment methods, and keep existing ones performing
- Redesign deposit, withdrawal, and card payment flows to cut friction while meeting each market’s compliance requirements
- Set priorities across competing requests from channel partners, engineering, compliance, and risk, and hold everyone to one launch plan
- Coordinate with overseas teams and partners across time zones so launches never wait on a handoff
- Has owned a payment or financial product area end to end and made the priority calls, not only carried them out
- Knows deposit, withdrawal, and card payment flows and the compliance requirements behind them
- Can keep channel partners, engineering, compliance, and risk working to one plan
- Works fluently in English and Mandarin, across time zones and cultures
- Understands payment system architecture: API integration, clearing and settlement, reconciliation
- Has worked on payments in overseas markets
