Manager, Contract Management (APAC)

Digital Realty seeks an agile professional for the Manager, Contract Management position within the Legal organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the contract management activities, including assisting internal teams with contract generation process, as well as abstraction, management and optimization of contract data and processes, ensuring high levels of accuracy, accessibility, and compliance. The Manager, Contract Management is also responsible for contract process improvement, contract database management, operations support, data maintenance, domain stewardship, data reporting, and continuous improvement through automation and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Contract Data Management & Maintenance: responsible for the organization, abstraction, storage, and retrieval of contract data and legal documentation to ensure it is easily accessible and well-maintained.
  • Monitor data saved automatically into the CLM system to ensure accuracy of data and input customer contract information into databases or software systems (including start/end dates, terms, pricing, and relevant customer details for commercial, enterprise and global account segments).
  • Input vendor contract information into databases or CLM systems (including start/end dates, terms, pricing, and relevant details for non-standard vendor agreements).
  • Process changes to contract data records in the contract data management system (e.g., status changes, renewal rates, contract value, issues or trends) with timely and accurate updates.
  • Maintain data with high accuracy, consistency, and reliability in alignment with company data governance processes.
  • Identify and rectify data entry errors or inconsistencies to uphold data integrity.
  • Support development and maintenance of contract data model definitions in the system.
  • Support data quality monitoring initiatives and ensure systematization in the tool.
  • Identify dependencies between data, processes and systems.
  • Maintain the data dictionary up-to-date to ensure consistent data definitions and usage across the organization.
  • Contract Management: act as primary contact for contract management activities, supporting internal teams with template generation and Service Order document drafting for special terms aligned with the Playbook.
  • Knowledge management of contract landscape as the first point of contact for CLM/contract questions, including contract hierarchy, correct template selection, validating data in the system, and managing data access.
  • Support contracting processes with queries and manage signature and storage processes, ensuring contract data is well abstracted through the process.
  • Contract Data Reporting: generate dashboards/reports based on contract data to support informed decision-making, and track contractual obligations.
  • Continuous Improvement, Automation and Innovation: supervise the creation, system implementation and correct use of contracting templates and workflows; identify pain points and areas to optimize the process; seek ways to improve contract data management through innovation and automation; support CLM data enhancement initiatives through AI tooling.
  • Compliance: maintain adherence to internal SLAs and ensure contract data and reporting are completed within designated time frames; comply with data protection regulations and company policies regarding secure handling of customer information.
  • Collaboration:

    support the wider contract management team, work with other teams to ensure integrated management of contract domain data and support organizational goals; liaise with IT and the Corporate Data Office for reporting and data management.
Requirements
  • Associate’s degree required; education or relevant certifications in Business Administration, Legal, or related fields are a plus.
  • Proven experience with contract management activities and a track record of meeting internal SLAs.
  • Experience in data governance and data management practices, including data quality, business rules, and dashboards. Data analytics background or experience is a plus.
  • Ability to handle data update requests promptly with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, proficiency in both written and verbal English.
  • Collaborative team player who is adaptable and effective in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms and a solid understanding of data management practices.
  • Desirable familiarity with AI tooling and automation in data management.
