Data Analyst Project Intern; Automation & Business Insights BS​/MS Glo

Responsibilities

A project intern will engage in impactful short‑term projects, including the following:

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and data tables to track key metrics, enabling proactive decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and insights to support business decision‑making, ensuring safety operations strategies are data‑driven and aligned with business priorities.
• Document and present findings to stakeholders to drive actionable outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Actively enrolled university student.
• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel, with experience in at least one scripting language.
• Familiarity with common data analysis techniques and statistical methods.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good logical thinking ability, business interpretation ability, and fast learning ability.
• Passion for data analysis work.

The role involves working with content that may include images, video, and text related to everyday life, bullying, hate speech, child safety, self‑harm, and animal harm. Exposure to potentially harmful content is possible.
