Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid‑market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world‑class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission‑critical applications on top of AWS services.

• Collaborate with customers, partners, and other AWS teams to craft architectures, proof‑of‑concepts, or demonstrations of our platform that work back from customer’s business needs and accelerate the adoption of appropriate AWS technology.
• Help shape and design solutions covering a spread of domains from migration of core enterprise applications to working with AI/ML, microservices, containers, app development, IoT, and more. Develop industry‑relevant architectures and convey business value.
• Build relationships to understand our customers and influence stakeholders from technical teams to executives. Ensure short‑term technology decisions are aligned with long‑term goals.
• Act as an evangelist in the wider community by educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops.
• Shape the direction of our products and services by gathering customer feedback while collaborating with engineering and service teams.

• 4+ years’ experience as a Technology Architect, Consultant, Cloud Architect, Technical Lead, Software Developer, Engineering Lead, Sales Engineer, Pre‑Sales Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
• Understanding in one or more technology areas, such as software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics, or AI/ML.
• Ability to create proof‑of‑concepts, demos, or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components.

• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) or a similar cloud certification.
• Experience architecting, migrating, or transforming customer requirements to the cloud.
• Professional experience architecting or operating solutions built on AWS.
• Demonstrated thought leadership through public speaking and/or publications.
