Quality Assurance Engineer; Software

• Set up and run design qualification plans for new hardware products
• Manage the reliability assessment program for products in mass production
• Perform failure analysis using life data analysis and accelerated life testing techniques
• Work with remote quality teams to make sure shipped products meet quality standards
• Perform manual testing (functional, environmental, stress), with some automation where useful
• Build dashboards and use data analytics to track reliability and quality trends
• Work with engineering teams to improve product quality and reliability
• Work with third party test labs for test support, including occasional site visits

• Degree in IT, Mechanical, Computer Science or a related field
• Experience as a general software tester
• Firmware testing experience is an added advantage
• Familiar with environmental and reliability testing standards, methods, and tools
• Knowledge of failure mechanisms, life data analysis, and accelerated life testing
• Strong stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration skills
• Knowledge of data analytics or statistical and reliability tools is a plus
• Comfortable working in Linux, Windows, or PC based environments
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI is a plus
• Willing to travel occasionally to third party test labs
