IT Security Engineer

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and maintain IT security solutions across the organization.
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and upgrade enterprise security platforms, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), network security appliances, and vulnerability management solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical, operational, and configuration documentation to support security projects and implementations.
• Coordinate with security technology vendors for product implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support.
• Provide technical support and incident response for IT security infrastructure and related security components.
• Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting and resolving security infrastructure issues.
• Assist with security assessments, audits, compliance activities, and remediation efforts.
• Manage and support the vulnerability management lifecycle, including vulnerability identification, assessment, prioritization, remediation, and reporting.
• Monitor security infrastructure and support the implementation of improvements to enhance the organization's overall security posture.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure security solutions are effectively implemented and maintained.
• Report to and work closely with the Cyber Security Team Lead on security operations, projects, and initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in cyber security, information security, or IT security is preferred.
• Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise security platforms such as:
  Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, Network security appliances, Vulnerability management and scanning solutions.
• Good understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of network segmentation, security architecture, and logging infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of security initiatives and drive projects or features from planning through successful delivery.
