- Raise and create purchase requisitions for procurement of goods/services, as required.
- Create Purchase Order (POs), track PO closure and review open POs.
- Maintaining records of goods received and ordered.
- Monitoring and preparation of purchasing related reports.
- Communicate and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Review requested items for requisition and liaise with department supervisors to determine the suitability of the material as well as identify and / or track overdue material requests
- Arranges transfer of materials between project sites
- Maintains records of material inventory, asset inventory reports and status and location of materials.
- Forecast demand to ensure timely procurement of necessary materials.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned
- Bachelor or Diploma in related field
- At least 5 years’ relevant working experience in Construction industry
- Familiar with construction material and specification
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, responsible and reliable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
