Procurement Specialist

A leading integrated oilfield services provider in the offshore industry. Our services cover each phase of offshore oil and gas exploration, development and production. Its four core business segments are geophysical services, drilling services, well services, marine support and transportation services.

• Coordinate manage and maintain the procurement of capital and expense goods and services
• Solicit competitive proposals from qualified suppliers
• Determine the lowest total cost solution
• Develop maintain and manage purchase orders
• Coordinate purchase process, negotiation and release of purchase order
• Provide support to the supplier audit process
• The point of contact for the procurement process between rig and vendor(s)
• Communication between rig and vendors for clarification of correct goods
• Communicate updates to assist overall operations/project coordination, cost control and scheduling
• Negotiate purchasing agreements
• Coordinate between export packer and freight forwarder to ensure the accuracy of export documentation
• Expedite all open or past-due purchase orders
• Manage the logistical process whereby goods are received, prepared for export and deliver to AIR or OCEAN transport carriers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business from an autonomous university in Singapore or a leading international university.
• Experience with offshore drilling equipment.
• Excellent communication and writing skills both in English & Mandarin to communicate with Chinese Stakeholders in China.
• Able to multi-task in a highly stressful environment
• Highly detail-oriented, good organizational skills
• Experience working on ERP systems; AMOS or SAP
