Position: Internship - Environment Health and Safety January to June 2027)

Help us get ahead of disease together with our Vaccines Business Area Internship, 2027:

Education required

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.

Other requirements

Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a full-time credit‑bearing internship.

Language requirement

Written and spoken fluency in English.

Internship period

January 2027 to June 2027 (based on your school’s internship period).

Responsibilities
  • Manage administration of all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)-related training including materials and schedule.
  • Provide EHS support to the site and provide accurate and where necessary, consistent professional advice that enables them to manage and improve their EHS performance.
  • Work with Operations, ensure workplace risk assessments are sufficient, meet necessary standard and updated.
  • Reinforce and promote improvements to the site’s safety culture.
  • Conduct office and site inspections.
  • Support problem‑solving, root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to rectify issues within agreed timelines.
  • Assist in areas with inspections to get a consistent approach across site, coaching site‑based representatives in EHS, increasing their EHS capabilities, and competence to effectively manage the environment.
  • Providing administration support to the team and supporting the Site EHS Lead.
  • Collate data for presentation and escalation at Site EHS Council and EHS Committee.
