Assistant Manager, Pricing & Promotions eCommerce

This role is responsible for maximising sales, profitability and brand equity of SEA markets eCommerce through pricing management and product lifecycle support. It manages pricing for all product categories in eCom in line with brand strategy and financial goals, including net sales, margin, markdown and inventory targets. It supports the definition and execution of product lifecycle management, including MSS and EOSS, and provides product and pricing insights for key commercial moments.

The role sits within Merchandising & Planning and works closely with the SEA eCom team, country supply chain and logistics, and Emerging Markets eCom Hub teams for merchandising, consumer experience, and planning and analytics.

• Manage the execution of defined merchandising principles related to pricing and promotions in day-to-day business and provide regular feedback to management.
• Input to the Director of Merchandising eCom on overall pricing and markdown strategy for upcoming seasons and key commercial moments.
• Ensure price alignment between country/channels and price articles within local price structures in accordance with pricing policy.
• Maintain historical promotion performance documentation and article lists comp performance across seasons to support future planning.
• Load markdown prices in central and local systems and maintain systems accordingly.
• Manage and maintain price change history and documentation around exclusion lists required for pricing compliance.
• Assist end-to-end preparation and timeline adherence for key commercial inventory forecasting processes, including sale dates definition, article selection, discount strategy and leftover transfer strategy.
• Assist in all on-site promotions that have product implications and issue key Merchandise Management Reports on price, margin and markdown management, including reporting packs for analysis of promotional activities and sales periods.
• Plan and execute price actions (mark-ups/downs, promotions, sale activities) and drive analyses that provide the financial impact of these actions.
• Maintain a knowledge base of country-specific legal restrictions, special sales periods and special sales actions, work proactively to propose process changes to avoid irregularities, and ensure all Point of Sale (POS) have a retail price per stock keeping unit (SKU).

• University degree, ideally in business with sales and finance focus or equivalent professional experience.
• 2-4 years’ experience in Retail merchandising (including buying, planning, distribution, budgeting).
• Functional awareness of Store Operations and Finance.
• Structured, organised and process orientated.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Fluent in English.
• Advanced user of MS Office suite of products– especially Excel, Access, PPT.
• Advanced knowledge of Retail Management Systems – SAP AFS, SAP PGR, DVM, Microstrategy.

• Dashboarding/Data Visualisation experience a plus.
