Bayes is representing an International Specialist Contractor on a Business Development, Tenders & Bids Management role
- Drive new client and project acquisition to meet sales and profitability targets in the geotechnical/ground engineering construction sector
- Build market intelligence, client networks and strong relationships
- Track industry trends and competitor activity
- Review tender team bid proposals and make go/no-go decisions with senior leadership
- Act as Bid Manager on major projects and lead client negotiations on bid and contract terms
- Coach and develop the business development and tender teams to hit performance targets
- Champion and safeguard the company's brand and reputation
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant Engineering or Business related discipline with 3-5 years of direct Business Development related exposure
- Experience with in the Built-Environment will be required, but not specific to Construction. Acceptable markets such as Construction/Main-Con/Sub-Con Tenders/QS, Consultancy, Architectural Solutions, Building Products are applicable
- The ability to present and carry yourself well is important for the success of this role.
