• Achieve Sales Targets – Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales revenue and profit targets.
• Develop New Customers – Find and acquire new customers such as supermarkets, wholesalers, restaurants, hotels and food-service businesses.
• Manage Key Accounts – Maintain strong relationships with major customers and grow existing accounts.
• Lead the Sales Team – Set targets, monitor performance, motivate and coach sales staff.
• Develop Sales Strategies – Create effective plans to increase sales, market coverage and customer base.
• Manage Pricing & Margins – Negotiate prices, discounts and promotions while maintaining required profit margins.
• Monitor Market & Competitors – Track market trends, customer demand, competitor pricing and new business opportunities.
• Sales Forecast & Stock Planning – Prepare sales forecasts and coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure sufficient stock.
• Customer & Collection Management – Resolve customer issues and work with Finance to follow up on outstanding payments.
• Sales Reporting & Management Updates – Prepare regular sales reports, analyse performance and provide recommendations to Management.
