Senior Software Engineer (Java & React.js) - Singapore
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer with at least 5years of recent hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level web applications using Java and React.js in an Agile development environment.

- Design, develop and maintain enterprise-level IT systems and applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including system analysis, development, testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners and project teams in an Agile development environment.
- Develop and enhance applications based on business and technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes and optimise application performance.
- Leverage AI tools to support software development and technical solutioning.
- Develop test cases, conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), load testing and performance tuning.
- Support production deployment, system enhancements and post-implementation activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical specifications and system documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Minimum 5 years of recent hands-on experience in software development, preferably in full-stack application development.
- Experience in modern application technologies, including:
- Backend Development:
Java / Kotlin - Frontend Development:
React.js - Frameworks:
Spring Framework - Database:
PostgreSQL or other relational databases (RDBMS) - Messaging / Integration: MQ (Message Queuing)
- Backend Development:
- Experience in Agile development methodologies , including Scrum and Agile Sprint Planning.
- Ability to leverage AI tools for software development and technical solutioning.
- Good understanding of system design, application integration, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
- Experience with the following technologies will be advantageous:
- Cloud Platforms: AWS
- Containerization:
Docker
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
- This is a 1-year contract, renewable and convertible to permanent.
