Gulfstream G550 First Officer – VIP Operations

Your mission

• Actively participate in all phases of flight in the role assigned by the Commander and, when directed or in the event of incapacitation, assume command with full authority and responsibility.
• Operate the G550 in strict accordance with approved procedures, checklists, company policies, OM-A, applicable Air Navigation Orders, and all relevant regulations.
• Lead and contribute to flight preparation, including route and performance planning, fuel and alternates, mass and balance, and operational decision-making.
• Obtain and review aeronautical, meteorological, NOTAM, and operational information; continuously monitor flight progress and changing conditions.
• Review aircraft technical status and anticipated load prior to departure; complete and verify OFPs, tech logs, flight logs, and associated records with precision.
• Coordinate seamlessly with Flight Operations, Dispatch, Maintenance, Ground Operations, and cabin crew to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time operations.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, safety, discretion, and VIP customer service at all times.
• Support safety-management principles and a just-culture environment through proactive reporting and continuous improvement.

• Valid ATPL or CPL with current G550 type rating issued by the FAA, UK CAA, EASA, or another ICAO-recognized authority.
• Current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Proven experience operating in international airspace.
• Strong knowledge of Gulfstream G550 systems, performance, limitations, and operating procedures.
• Solid understanding of international aviation regulations, flight operations, and safety-management principles.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills; ability to work effectively with Captains, cabin crew, dispatch, maintenance, and ground-support teams.
• Calm, professional decision-maker in time-critical situations with strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional, discreet interpersonal skills when supporting VIP and high-profile clients.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends, public holidays, and extended duty periods.

• Previous private-jet or business-aviation experience.
• Prior Gulfstream time, especially on the G550 or other large-cabin Gulfstream aircraft.
• Experience operating in challenging weather and diverse global environments.
