Schedule:
8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday
- Supports the hiring process, including writing and maintaining job descriptions, posting job openings, screening resumes and applications, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations.
- Participates in onboarding and orientation sessions for new employees.
- Addresses concerns and fosters a positive work environment; responds to employee inquiries.
- Ensures corrective and disciplinary actions are administered fairly and in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborates with the manager to understand department‑specific training needs and facilitates employee training and development programs.
- Proactively follows up with new and current employees to monitor employee satisfaction.
- Assists in administering the benefit programs for the company; serves as a contact for all employees with benefit questions or the dissemination of benefit information.
- Works with the production leadership group and Safety Action Team in conducting accident investigations, compiling information for First Reports, coordinating with Workers' Compensation Insurance, and working closely with the Occupational Health Nurse and injured employees to facilitate a safe return to work.
- Additional duties may be assigned as required.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three to five years of experience in Human Resources (preferred).
