Parts Sales Representative – Agri Vision Equipment Group
Join us as a Parts Sales Representative for Agri Vision Equipment Group, a joint venture between two top John Deere dealerships. We lead innovation and service for rural America.
General PurposeResponsible for selling and stocking parts, providing excellent customer service to customers and service technicians, and maintaining an organized inventory.
Essential Functions- Sell parts to customers at the store and at customer locations.
- Maintain good rapport with customers and service technicians.
- Maintain accurate inventory control.
- Assist in keeping the parts department clean and orderly.
- Record all sales and counter transactions.
- Supply service technicians with parts as required.
- Assist the Parts Manager with merchandising displays.
- Verify received shipments.
- Follow up on shortages and report to the Parts Manager for expediting.
- Perform other duties as needed to ensure the success of AVE-PLP.

- Consistently promote, support, and act in alignment with AVE-PLP’s DNA.
- Knowledge of parts merchandising and selling techniques.
- Understanding of financial management relevant to the Parts Department.
- Maintain a positive, professional relationship with peers, management, and support resources.
- Effective communication with customers, employees, and peers in person, on the phone, and in writing.
- Proficiency with standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- One year of customer service experience preferred.
- Previous parts sales or merchandising experience preferred.
- Education and experience may be substituted on a year‑for‑year basis.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Passing of MVR, criminal history background check, employment verification, and drug screen before employment.
- Forklift license preferred or ability to obtain one.
- Occasional outdoor work in extreme weather; walking on uneven terrain.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration.
- Moderate noise level.
- Required PPE: cold weather gear, eye protection, gloves, and uniform.
- Long hours, overtime during holidays, weekends, and evenings possible.
- On‑call rotation up to one week at a time.
- Stand, sit, and walk on unpaved terrain; reach, use hands, and operate computer and telephone.
- Talk or hear regularly.
- Climb ladders, stairs, and traverse catwalks; push, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.
- Manual dexterity needed for safe operation of power tools and vehicles.
- Close, distance, and color vision required; adjust focus appropriately.
- Lift and carry up to 5 lb. loads; lift up to 50 lb. frequently and 75 lb. occasionally.
