Truck Driver

Overview

Agric Vision Equipment Group and Prairie Land Partners (AVE‑PLP, LLC) is a joint venture of two leading John Deere dealerships in the United States. We specialize in agricultural equipment, technology, innovation and best‑in‑class service and support for rural America.

The Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting farm equipment to customers and dealer facilities. The role requires clear communication with sales, service and customers and maintains all required DOT, OSHA and company certifications.

• Transport equipment to/from customers, dealer facilities, and John Deere factory.
• Support sales with equipment delivery as needed.
• Maintain pickup and delivery records and obtain required signatures and receipts.
• Maintain all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy.
• Account for all time and distance traveled in performing assigned duties.
• Maintain assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition.
• Instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience as a Class A Motor Vehicle Operator preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and Commercial Driver’s License required.
• Clean MVR, DOT physical requirements and drug screen compliance required.
• Reliable transportation required.

• Occasional outdoor work in extreme weather conditions (hot/cold).
• Work may involve long hours, overtime, working on-call responsibilities.

• Stand, sit, walk and move loads up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Perform manual tasks in confined spaces and with power tools.
• Operate a motor vehicle for sustained periods of time.
