• Full-time opportunity for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Critical Care Physician
• Average of 8 Äì14 patients per day
• On-site schedule: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with overnight call from home (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
• Full-time equals 182 shifts per year
• Flexible scheduling options available (7 on/7 off, 10 on/10 off)
• Closed ICU model
• 24/7 hospitalist program manages inpatients
• Collaborative multi-specialty support including Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, General/Trauma Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, GI, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, and Neurology
• Strong team environment emphasizing communication, collaboration, and quality patient outcomes
Candidate Requirements
• MD or DO
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care Medicine
• Eligible for unrestricted Iowa medical license
• Active or eligible DEA registration
• H-1B visa cap-exempt and J-1 waiver sponsorship available
