JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses:
Active Iowa medical license required

• Board:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

• DEA:
Active DEA required

Certifications:

ACLS required; additional certifications per facility standards

Experience:

Prior emergency department experience required

Ability to work flexible schedules as needed

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for patients of all ages

• Manage acute and emergent conditions in a hospital-based emergency department

• Perform emergency procedures and coordinate admissions as required

• Collaborate with emergency department staff and consulting services

• Document all patient encounters accurately in the facility EMR
