Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for teaching Welding and related courses at the WITCC Sioux City campus. Day and night courses are available. Courses are assigned in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.
Responsibilities- Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning style of students.
- Evaluates and reports student performance and progress in courses in accordance with College and division policies and procedures.
- Must meet minimum faculty standards for hire and adhere to college policies and procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
- Effective oral and written communication and human relation skills.
- Welcome, value, and nurture people of all backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, as well as support and promote an environment that accepts differences.
- Teaching experience is preferred.
- American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector/Welding Educator.
