DSJ Global is currently searching for a Senior Process Engineer to join our client, a leading food/beverage manufacturing organization based in South Sioux City, NE.

Sr Process Engineer

Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000

This role is responsible for supporting and coordinating activities within the production unit to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. The Process Engineer will manage assigned tasks across multiple areas to achieve plant objectives related to safety, environmental standards, quality, cost control, and on-time delivery. In addition, this position participates in cross-functional teams, task forces, and committees, and may work varied shifts within the unit as operational needs require.

• Manage day-to-day production, maintenance, and engineering support to ensure products meet quality and quantity targets aligned with customer requirements.
• Provide technical and managerial support in response to process deviations identified through KPI reports and trend analysis, assisting operations teams in troubleshooting.
• Lead and support investigations related to safety and quality incidents, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures.
• Evaluate processes and recommend improvements, including proposing changes or capital projects to enhance efficiency, extend equipment life, and maintain quality standards.
• Monitor process conditions and operational activities, recommending corrective actions to maintain cost‑effective and efficient operations.
• Maintain and analyze historical performance data, track key process parameters, and assist operations in meeting cost and production goals.
• Coordinate and deliver training and coaching for operations personnel on process design and operational best practices to strengthen team capability and drive individual growth.
• Serve as a Certified Lean Specialist, leading internal projects focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
• 5+ years of experience within manufacturing environment
• PSM experience highly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to apply GMP, Quality, and Safety standards
