Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of cardiovascular and vascular scanning experience and valid ARDMS or equivalent credentials.

• Position is based in an acute care setting with the possibility to float between local campuses
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Patient population includes adult cardiovascular and vascular cases
• EPIC EMR is utilized for documentation, with experience preferred
• Primary responsibilities include performing cardiovascular and vascular sonography as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• May be required to float within the same discipline across different campuses
• No weekend or holiday call responsibilities
• Expected to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays as needed
• Scrubs are not specified, so bring appropriate work attire

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in cardiac and vascular sonography
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract
• ARDMS, BCLS, CCI-RCIS, or RDCS certification required
• Active Iowa state license required if applicable
• Supervisory reference from within the last 2 years required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
