**** SUMMARY**:
This position is responsible for supervising the maintenance of private fleet equipment, storage trailers, and various plant equipment.

Responsibilities include:

Managing and performing contracts from 3rd party maintenance suppliers; overseeing the in-service of newly acquired assets; re-positioning wrecked equipment; correct and drive efficiency with billing procedures with suppliers; coordinating and motivating Team members; drive out maintenance cost through effectively managing preventive maintenance strategies; coordinating with operations to provide low cost options in over-the-road maintenance.  This position will have direct influence and responsibility for maintenance exceeding over 35 million annually.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage Road Service Maintenance Supervisors.
* Manage wrecked assets for long-haul and grow-out fleet. Repair Buyout decision.  Request and facilitate CIR s for complex total losses.
* Assist in facilitation of newly purchased assets and recently sold assets private fleet.
* Liaison between the supplier shop and operations private fleet.
* Works with current MS on trading equipment etc.
* Actively manage the wrecker fleet 3 drivers with repositioning wrecked equipment and grow-out equipment.
* Help correct and drive efficiency with billing procedures with supplier utilized by our MS group.
* Manage contracts for over-the-road maintenance suppliers (for example Pilot TA.)  Understanding DOT compliance and safety.
** REQUIREMENTS**:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

5 plus years.

Computer

Skills:

Standard computer skills required SAP experience preferred.

Communication

Skills:

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Special

Skills:

Specialized knowledge of truck of trailer mechanical systems.

Supervisory:
Responsible for managing maintenance supervisors and/or road service team members.

Travel: 1 or 2 times annually.
