Medication Technician – Bickford Senior Living
Starting at $19. Evening shifts available.

- Part‑time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) eligible for voluntary life and short‑term disability.
- Benefits begin the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

- Pay available daily.
- Accurately follow the resident medication administration record (MAR) to ensure medications are given according to physician orders.
- Understand and apply the "Six rights of medication administration" and all Bickford policies and procedures regarding medication management.
- Use the eMAR system for medication administration.
- Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
- Provide direct resident care and supervise resident care work of non‑licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate.
- Demonstrate the Bickford Mission "Whatever it Takes" to all team members on shift.
- Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of experience caring for seniors.
- Approved Medication Manager Certificate from the Department of Inspection and Appeals.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Willingness to pursue additional training or education as required by specific states.
- CPR and First Aid certifications required.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational and time‑management competence.
- Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to use or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications.
