Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in Iowa, requiring an active IA or compact RN license and at least two years of ICU experience.

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Required to work every third weekend
• Uses Epic EMR system
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Role involves functioning as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide and manage patient care
• Initial orientation includes 16 hours of training
• Holiday coverage requires working 2 out of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Request off is limited to one day during specified holiday blocks
• Returning candidates will not be considered if employed by the facility within the previous 12 months

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Certifications:
  
  BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC all required and must be active
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required
• At least 1 completed travel contract required
• Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility
• References: one supervisory reference from within the last 2 years
