Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN with an active IA or compact license and current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications for a night shift contract.

• Work in an Emergency Room setting with a focus on acute patient care
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts required every third weekend
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses if census is low in the ER
• Uses Epic EMR;
  Epic experience is beneficial
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide and manage patient care
• Required to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, Thanksgiving)
• Only 1 day of time off may be requested between November 26-30 or December 23-January 2 regardless of holidays worked
• Orientation consists of 16 hours
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this role

• Active IA or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of prior Emergency Department RN experience
• At least 1 prior travel contract completed
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA), and TNCC required
• Proof of active certifications at time of consideration, pending certifications not accepted
• One supervisory reference from within the last 2 years required
