American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of med surg experience and a compact or Iowa RN license.

• Medical unit (3A Medical) within a Level III trauma center hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, scheduled 36-48 hours per week
• Every other weekend work required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• 13-week assignment length

• Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Heparin drip experience preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory reference/performance evaluation from within the past 2 years required

• Contribute professional clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Must not have been employed by the facility's health system within the past 12 months
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as no local candidates are accepted
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
• Limited to 1 day off request during designated holiday blackout periods in late November and late December
