American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and Epic EMR experience.

• Medical Surgical unit (3A Medical) in a Level 3 Trauma Center hospital
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active RN license (IA or compact) required
• 2+ years of Med Surg experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Heparin drip experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military also accepted)
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Supervisory reference form completed within the last two years required for consideration

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Navy blue scrub dress code
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
• Limited to 1 day off request during the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year holiday periods
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are not eligible to work travel assignments in another market within 12 months
