American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a Level 3 Trauma Center night shift position requiring 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience and prior travel experience.

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within the same discipline across local campuses
• Cardiac, stroke, and general medical patient population
• Patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 on nights
• EMR:
  Epic
• No on-call requirements

• Active RN license (IA or compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin titration, and Amiodarone required
• Skills checklist specific to Med Surg/Tele required
• Supervisory reference completed within the last two years required
• Valid driver's license required

• Provide professional clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team managing Med Surg/Tele patients
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day), with limited time-off requests during these holiday periods
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are restricted from working travel assignments in another market within 12 months
