American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring an active IA or compact license and PCU experience.

• Hospital setting on the 6SW Post Critical Care unit of a Level 3 Trauma Center
• Patient ratios of 1:4, which may increase to 1:5
• Patient population includes CHF, ablation, angiogram, TCAR, EVAR, DKA, stroke, pacemaker, and sepsis cases
• Uses Epic EMR
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• Floating required to the ED and all inpatient units, including across local campuses within the same discipline
• No on-call requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Mandatory reporter status required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Skills checklist specific to PCU required
• Supervisory reference form completed within the last 2 years required

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 winter holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
• Limited to 1 day off request during the periods of 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Past UnityPoint Health employees, whether FTE or PRN for the float pool, may not work travel assignments in another market within 12 months of separation
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address
